Currently inspired by creatures of the deep. I made this card today. I'd love to be able to draw octopuses (Yeah, that's right, Wikipedia that sh*t.)

Ma Boy's Illustration Blog

These lovely images are from Ma Boy's Illustration Blog which posts illustrations by two tallented boys named Daniel (age 8) and Israel (age 9). I think this is both cute and totally inspiring. These boys obviously put a lot of care into the detail of these illustrations. As far as I can tell they have a theme each week and come up with different interpretations in the form of an illustration. I really like how they use different mediums too, instead of simply sticking with paper anc coloured pencils. My favourites are the little birdie who says that wearing your seatbelt is safe and the walrus/seal (I'm not great with names of any sorts, haha) which illustrates the theme of 'Fat'. Wonderful.

I had to pick this as my favourite because, I must confess, I am a little bit of a Twilight book fan (Or Twilitard, as some say.) 'Skine Art

'Skine Art simply 'celebrates Moleskine lovers and their art'. I like this site because of the vast variety of entries; it's kind of like seeing one little snippet of a person's mind and their story and then another and another, all in quick succession. I really love the second entry and I'm not really sure why... I'm odd like that.

Kitsune Noir

Fire Hair

Ahh, I've been so busy lately, I just need a rest. It's all okay though, because it's friday now. Yay!

Sometime during the week I drew this bottom picture, which I copied (not traced) from the top picture. I then gave her pretty fire hair in watercolours. She just seemed like a firey-type person.

The origional image is by Mycharliegirl on deviantart and is convieniently packaged in a wallpaper size. Mychaliegirl has some really beautiful illustrations, this is by far the simplest in her gallery. I might have to do a post on her sometime to show you all my favourites.
