More space, more shoes.

I've been busy busy making more shoes and, most importantly, I got a stamp! Haha, I love it, it says my name and everything! But apart from my excitement over the new stamp, I've been trying to work out a few things with this little 'business'. It feels so odd to call it that. I'd really like to set up an etsy account but as I don't have a credit card I'm still working out the logistics. If you're really set on a pair, stay tuned to see what happens with that, or email me and maybe we can work something out privately. Thanks so much for the lovely comments and all the interest and support from my friends and family. (I'm painting up some pairs for my little cousins, how cute will that be?)

DIY ruffle belt

I'm pretty sure your next outfit needs some more ruffles. Luckily, 100 Layer Cake has kindly provided us with a tutorial on how to make one of these lovely ruffle belts. How wonderful.

Something about these pom-poms prompted me to describe them as delicious; it is fitting, no?
I'm definitely making some of these in pretty blues and greens to hang in my room. Instructions are available here from Martha Stewart and the pretty little girls room is one which was shared on Craftynest. Found via Design Sponge.

A small victory

I finally taught myself to knit! (Basically.)
I'm now one step closer to knitting that beret. Yay!

Slouchy Beret Patterns

I found a brilliant free pdf pattern for a slouchy beret here. How exciting! Now all I need to do is learn to knit or crochet. I'm not sure which. To tell the truth, I don't know anything about making woolly-type accessories. I suppose I could always go out to the shops and buy a beret for around $10, but where's the fun in that? Now I'm off to learn a new skill. Knitting, I think.
