Space Shoes

I've been painting SPACE SHOES. I'm excited.
Any thoughts on me setting up an Etsy?
(The shoes in the last shot look a bit shabby as I painted the design onto my old school shoes for practice.)

Juice

I've had my eye on these lovelies by Lucy Hope for a while now. I really love the colours of the first and the hair all together is too cute. I was reminded again of these after some more flipping through the latest Frankie Magazine. You can purchase these as cards from Leeloo.

Robot/People Art

Could a human-like object traverse sidewalks and streets along with us, and in so doing, create a narrative about our relationship to space and our willingness to interact with what we find in it? More importantly, how could our actions be seen within a larger context of human connection that emerges from the complexity of the city itself?

These are the questions Kacie Kisner asked. She answered them by building a robot.
Read more about Kacie's tweenbots project here. For now, watch this adorable video.

Twilightard

I have to learn to draw like this. Isn't it amazing? Artwork by BlueAngel271183 on Deviant Art. I had to pick this as my favourite because, I must confess, I am a little bit of a Twilight book fan (Or Twilitard, as some say.) Click here and go to full view on the left hand side to see it in it's full-sized glory.

'Skine Art

'Skine Art simply 'celebrates Moleskine lovers and their art'. I like this site because of the vast variety of entries; it's kind of like seeing one little snippet of a person's mind and their story and then another and another, all in quick succession. I really love the second entry and I'm not really sure why... I'm odd like that.

99 Feelings

Artmind on Etsy has a beautiful project entitled 99 feelings. She creates unglazed ceramic babushkas which each represent a feeling. I like how raw the sculptures appear, it emulates the feeling more strongly, to me. Projects like this inspire me. You can see every single feeling here or watch a short montage on artmind's blog.

Tochka Factory

Okay, seriously. This is my 4th post tonight, and my second post about Tochka. But I just HAD to show you this.

I have no idea what the Tochka Factory blog is about, since it's all in Japanese; But I love it anyway! I don't have enough downloads to be watching every single video posted there at the moment (for now, getting new net soon!). I shall just have to make do with showing you this cute clip set to some Japanese pop song. Click here to see more awesome stuff from The Tochka Factory.

Pika Pika Lighting Doodle Project

I saw the last few seconds of this project made by Tochka on tv and I've been trying to find it ever since. Here it is! This is truly amazing. An impressive feast for the eyes.
I might try to make one myself, just like the other 104,318 people who viewed it on youtube, haha.
