Jellyfish

Currently inspired by creatures of the deep. I made this card today. I'd love to be able to draw octopuses (Yeah, that's right, Wikipedia that sh*t.)

Photo Wall

My new photo wall in my room. I'm a little bit proud.

True,

Mmmm, Matt Smith.

School, a visit from.

Ahh, school. You've come back for a visit, have you? How lovely of you. Did you miss me? I sure missed all the new knowledge. I didn't miss the assignments though. You don't have to bring them again if you don't want to. Oh, what's that, you brought over a fresh plate that you just cooked up? Oh wow... you shouldn't have. Really. that's so er, generous of you.
So you say two of my teachers have left, and you have NO replacements? Oh my! Whatever shall we do? Nothing? Okay. I didn't really need to pass biology and chemistry. After all, I'd just like to be a neuroscientist. No biggie.
But you say you have new exchange students? That's pretty cool. They sound nice. They're coming for lunch next week? Lovely.
So yeah, school, what else have you been up to? Oh, fine, er. I'll just do this assignment. Thanks again for stopping by. Wait, you want to stay for 10 weeks..? oh... kay.

Mars and the like,

Shopping

I went shopping on Thursday and I'm so very happy with my purchases :)
I bought two records for their lovely cover art - $1.00 each! So cheap. I also got two Penguin Classics books - The Fabric of the Cosmos and How Language Works. Interested to read both. And finally, the lovely Frankie. How wonderful. I'm going to now curl up and have a nice read.

Small Spaces

Such a beautiful use of small space.
A 9-by-14-foot old hunting cabin turned victorian cottage, renovated and furnished for US$3,000.

The Envelope Project

I love this idea so much! Meet Me At Mike's is hosting The Envelope Project - and it's still running! (I always find out about these things after they're finished)
Basically, you get a cutesy envelope which you've decorated to your heart's content for display in the front window of the Meet Me At Mike's Shop and you fill it with lovely treasures. Sweet nothings that aren't too pricey or too heavy. You put it all in the envelope and send it off to the address above. When the lovely people at the shop receive your envelope, they take out your presents, photograph them, upload the photos to flickr here and display your envelope in the shopfront window. At the end of the six week limit, they'll pick one luck envelope sender and mail them the entire haul of treasures! How lovely would it be to receive that in your mail box?
I'm sending mine tomorrow. You'd best be quick - there are only a few short weeks left!

Flat Oxfords

{one}
{two}
I'm loving these type of shoes at the moment - especially with the dorky grey socks. So cool. Does anyone know what they're called? Flat oxfords?

Hello Polyvore

I'm getting so much traffic from a little mention in this tutorial on Polyvore, so I thought I'd greet you all.
Hello! My name is Chelsea. I live in Australia. Tonight I went to a local gig. Tomorrow I will paint a few pairs of space shoes and hang out with my boyfriend. I like pictures, brains, travel, nebulae, handmade things, Zelda, stories, art journals, rain, smiles, Margo Roth Spiegelman, Biology, English accents, Doctor Who, songs, masquerade masks, long hair and surprises.

Tell me something about yourself? Pretty please?

I've been finding pictures of my shoes on Polyvore that aren't linked back to me, so a made an account and uploaded these. If you'd like to use any of these items, see them here.
